Immortals!

The invasion of the Oceanid army has begun! Enemy scouts have been spotted near large Aelion ports. Over time, more and more creatures will appear. Young gods will face experienced soldiers. They will have to repel attacks in the regions, defeat new distortion generals and fight the avatar of a great god who has returned to Aelion with new forces.

New adventures and difficulties

Eleventh generation equipment has become available with the start of the new invasion season. To obtain it, complete adventures in Leunar Swamps, Mare Sacro Monastery, Targo Islands and Operation Isabella at current difficulty levels.

Besides defending your home planet, you should also attack enemy bases, ruthlessly eliminating the generals of the invading army. You can find the first one in the Onslaught of the Sea: Lorro the Cold distortion.

The following adventures are now available: Screening Field Generator and Helping Hand. Don't forget that in these adventures you can receive epic items of the previous generation.

Flavius’ Laboratory and Bastions

The start of the eleventh season adds new bonuses to Flavius's Laboratory and increases the amount of Might that can be gained from Bastions! You can now gain up to 30000 points of Might from each structure. Additionally, the maximum rank of the Tower of Knowledge that can be reached via the catch-up system has been increased to 110.

New difficulties for group adventures will be unlocked over time. To defeat all the Oceanid leaders, you will need the latest and most powerful weapons, so young gods will have to acquire eleventh generation equipment.

Region Invasions

Just like demons, the enemy decided to use new tactics. In the first part of the invasion, the Oceanid army will try to capture and flood one of the open regions of Aelion. The invaders will deploy a large force to overcome any resistance and set their plan into motion. But Tol-Monter is impatient, and if his minions do not succeed within 7 days, the Oceanids will attack another region. Templars will try and contain the threat, but they need your help. Protect mortals, attack the Oceanids and make sure they do not spread their influence further! You will receive credits, Knowledge of Enemies and rare current generation equipment.

Tol-Monter’s Avatar

Distortions will be unlocked gradually, and Tol-Monter’s Avatar’s Avatar will land on the planet within the 3rd week. You will have enough time to get ready to meet these terrible enemies. From now on, distortion generals and the champion version of the avatar have a small chance of dropping legendary jewelry of the current generation!

Now if your character has unlocked less than 4 divine specializations, you will get Avatar Trophies for completing the invasion avatar's training challenge for the first 1-4 runs! Defeating the avatar in the champion challenge can get you 1–6 trophies if your character has unlocked less than 6 divine specializations for trophies. Obtaining the sixth avatar trophy will give you access to higher divinity.

Fight, win, and destroy the enemies without mercy. Show them that they are not welcome here!

Since ancient times, the armies of Tol-Monter wanted to capture Aelion.
It would seem that Oceanids, creatures that were not adapted to life outside seas and oceans, were no threat at all in the beginning - but now became one of the most dangerous enemies to us.

Unlike other fiends, the Oceanids managed to find a place to hide on Aelion. A place where neither the Templars nor the Immortals could find them - miles under the ocean!

The oceanic depths are still a big mystery to everyone in Aelion. And only one person, Angus Affort, a famous scientist, has tried to uncover the secrets of the depth. Angus’ studies were not well received by most people, only his old friend Flavius was supporting him.

The scientist wandered off to the south and for many years nobody heard of Angus. However, during the last invasion of the Oceanids, Angus sent Flavius a letter informing him of what he knew.

The letter though got lost among other messages, and the news arrived too late.The coast had already been seized by the Oceanids… one could only guess what the content of that message was.

From November 8th to November 22nd your Followers can be sent out for missions to empower Aelion against the beasts from the depths. While being out for missions they have the chance to acquire rarities such as Premium Subscription, Knowledge of Enemies, Credits, Stimulants and Victor’s Medals.

Patch Notes

Immortals!
Update 95.2.54, which adjusts the way total damage is calculated, has been installed. The stats that affect it now interact with each other a little differently. This change was necessary for a better and more proportional increase in total damage and stat growth.

Combat Superiority now works in the adventure with the champion version of Tol-Monter, but the boss's health has increased.

Metarchus’s Staff will now work with defense and attack classes as well as for support specialists. However, the damage of the other members of the group will still only speed up staff activation for Alchemists and Lightbinders.

The damage from symbols stat has been adjusted. Now it works properly with all symbols that inflict damage. Symbols increasing a companion's damage are the exception. This stat should not apply to their effect.

We updated the Pantheon version of the Inghar Test Area. It now has 2 difficulty levels: relevant to the invasion and with equalizing. They work the same as the difficulty levels for groups and parties. Added Argents to rewards for completing challenges at the actual difficulty level.

Market

• New items are available in the market. You can now obtain a Beam Glider, Fury Super Glider, Black-Winged Griffin and books that enhance certain types of transport. You can now turn your animals and griffins into to trusty battle mounts, developing their abilities with the help of the Animal Rage, Griffon Attack and Battle Animals books.

Stats

• The way total damage is calculated has been adjusted. Total Damage, Ranged Damage, Support Aura Power and damage bonuses from Flavius's Lab, the Temple of Deeds (God of Defense) and Halls of Elder Gods now interact differently with each other. This change was necessary for a better and more proportional increase in total damage and stat growth.
• To prevent the damage calculation formula affecting current character might, the role of stats influencing damage was increased.
• Additional Damage has been renamed Total Damage Bonus.
• The damage when combat starts stat for characters that have changed their role from attack to defense or support is now working properly.
• The damage from symbols stat has been adjusted. Now it works properly with all symbols that inflict damage. Symbols increasing a companion's damage are the exception. This stat should not apply to their effect.
• The Might of Other Worlds bonus now grants +4% damage instead of +3%.
• The Death Incarnate bonus now grants +20% instead of +15%.

Tower of Knowledge

• Activated symbols will not work for characters using prototype combat transport. This resolves the problem of premature prototype reset.

Classes

Knight

• Fixed the issue where you could use the Battering Ram even without dash charges.

Revenant

• Fixed the issue where a break in the Destruction ability did not stop its accompanying sound.

Interface

• Descriptions of equipment no longer duplicate information about their sources.
• Now when you open an accessory description and click Ctrl, you can see its range of possible properties.
• Removed the text with stat ranges from items that do not use it.
• Generation is now only displayed on icons of items that have a generation.

General

• Requirements for the Equipment Training quest have been changed. To do this quest, you now have to complete a Group or Squad type adventure.
• Rewards for directives in Victor's Medals have been moved to the Reward for Feat chest.

Tol-Monter (Champion)

• Fixed the issue in which combat superiority did not work for characters in the adventure.
• Boss health adjusted. It had been too low.
• Fixed the issue where certain circumstances prevented Protheus from summoning Khelps.

Divine Weapon

Metarchus’s Staff

• Now the enhanced Metarchus's Staff can be used by attack and defense classes, but damage to others will still not affect its activation. For support classes, damage to other group members will continue to speed up staff activation.
• You cannot become a target of the Metarchus’s Staff defensive ability more than once every 40 seconds.

Inghar Test Area

• The Pantheon version is available again! It now has 2 difficulty levels: relevant to the invasion and with equalizing. They work the same as the difficulty levels for groups and parties.
• Updated rewards for challenges: you can now get Argents for the actual difficulty level.
• Updated the seasonal lottery: 5 players from 10 Pantheons that end up at the top of the ranking table will receive the grey Goliath transport (or 3000 Victor's Medals if they already have it).
• Fixed the issue where a character went into a queue instead of entering the test area.

Hostile Territories

• You can receive 30 Marks of the King from ether chests which you could previously only get in distortions.
• Starting from the 3rd week of the invasion, you can get 5 random equipment pieces from an ether chest instead of 5 items of the same type. There is still a chance of receiving items of the same type.

Quests

• When you are completing the last stage of Final Leap for the first time, you cannot leave it unfinished. This should stop the training quest chain from ending prematurely. Those who do not have access to the Temple of Deeds can now complete the required tutorial.

The third week of the Oceanid invasion is underway. Heroes now have access to new difficulty levels of certain group adventures. Join the operations Medea and Ophelia, fight the Mechanoids, Phytonides, and Demons, and receive generation 11 epic equipment!

The vanguard of the invading army has set up bases on our planet to prepare for the arrival of Tol-Monter’s Avatar. The coming of this terrifying creature has boosted the morale of the enemy troops. They are ready to attack Aelion with all their might. Immortals must take action!

Experienced fighters will test their skills against the champion avatar of the great god of the Oceanids.

For victory, they will receive:

• 1–6 trophies if the character has unlocked less than 6 divine specializations for trophies;
• 1 Avatar’s Artifact if the character has received less than 4 Avatar’s Artifacts;
• Halo of the Oceanid vindicator;
• Legendary jewelry.

Novices will face the training version of the enemy’s avatar. This adventure is much easier than the previous one. It is adapted for groups of 5 characters. Its purpose is to prepare young gods for the battle against Tol-Monter. Now if your character has unlocked less than 4 divine specializations, you will get Avatar Trophies for completing the invasion avatar's training challenge for the first 1-4 runs! Although, everyone will have to go through the training version first, because a successful run gives you a chance to receive a new Khelp mount.

You also have a chance to receive generation 11 legendary jewelry for victory over any version of the avatar.

This week Immortals can receive 8 rewards for a feat instead of 4 when they complete quests on Thea and in the Antean Wasteland.

Also the Oceanids are still attacking Naori Island!

Region Invasion

Get to Naori Island right away. Help the Templars, eliminate the invaders and rescue Aelion. The Oceanids have prepared well for an attack - they have occupied several sandbanks and installed storm generators to create heavy downpours. Destroy the generators, don't let the underwater creatures get the upper hand. The enemy gets stronger and more dangerous during downpours.

Protheus, the leader of the Oceanids of Aelion is helping our forces. Protheus and Flavius have worked together to create special amplifiers. These complex mechanisms help Protheus calm the enemy monsters and lure them over to our side. But there is a small problem - pronouncing the spell requires time and the amplifiers are attracting hordes of enemies. The planet's forces require your help to protect the amplifiers.

By the way, rumor has it that some Oceanids on Naori Island have special jewelry that can help you find incredible treasures. But perhaps it is just a rumor.

December is here and Winter has come to Skyforge, but it’s not all darkness… Until the 20th of December we will be running a Boost Event in the game!

This means that...

• The amount of credits and Knowledge of Enemies gained will be doubled until December 20th!
• Credits received from directives and adventures increased 50%.
• Knowledge of Enemies received from directives and adventures increased 40%.
• Knowledge of Enemies and credits received from ether boxes and rewards for feats up 20%.

Bugfixes

• The visual issues with the water in Usuni Valley has been fixed..
• Euphomine stimulants are no longer allocated daily but weekly - 35 every Wednesday.

Other

• The likelihood of receiving mysterious chests has tripled and old map fragments have been removed from rewards. Free up a slot in your bag, by assembling a chest out of the remaining fragments, even if there are less than 10!
• Old Map Fragments can no longer be received by killing monsters, but the likelihood of a whole Mysterious Chest dropping has tripled. Remaining Old Map Fragments can be transformed into chests, even if you have less than 10.
• The Temporal Compensator has been renamed Reanimator to make it easier to understand what the item does.
