Dear friends!

Flavius has been studying immortals in his White Room project for a long time now, but mortals are a new field of research for him. Labyrinth Experimental Project has been created fairly recently. It is aimed at studying faith and the processes of its transmission as well as the methods of increasing this flow. The project got its name because of the features of the virtual world in which the subjects were immersed. In this world, they were accompanied and supervised by Argus which was well-known to all immortals.

The initial results were impressive: it turned out that the amount of faith a follower passes on to their god is not the same for everyone and can vary depending on the circumstances. But the project had to be put on hold: suddenly the virtual space of the experiment began to change spontaneously. It was like an unknown virus, and Flavius had to lock the system to stop it from spreading.

Communication with the experimental subjects was lost - none of them was able to return to consciousness, although their vitals indicated that not only were they alive inside the Labyrinth, but they were also engaging in strenuous physical activity. Flavius needs intelligent and trained volunteers from among the adepts to link them into the system and try to figure out what happened.

Flavius's Labyrinth Project involved working with mortals, but an unknown system malfunction forced the scientist to close the virtual space of the experiment. All test subjects are trapped: to survive, they need the help of your adepts.

From October 17 to October 31 participate in the Labyrinth promotion. Send your adepts to help Flavius - you will receive a new hero, unique relics for adepts, Guard Power Armor, and Jet Experimental Transport!

You can receive up to 8 relics during the event - 4 in the first circle, and 4 more by using Relic Fragments. Once you have received all relics, the reward will change to 3 Special Focuses of Faith that grant 1000 Faith each.

To accelerate missions, you can use Intelligence Data or Argents. Intelligence Data can be obtained in PvE adventures: from 1 item for victory over the last boss in Squad adventures. Killing bosses in group adventures brings more Data. The reward size depends on the character's and adventure's current rank. The amount of Intelligence Data you can obtain is not limited. Once you have accumulated 3000 Intelligence Data, the chance of getting it is reduced, and you will receive a smaller amount.

You can purchase an Intelligence Data Extractor in the Resources section of the Market. It increases the amount of Intelligence Data received for killing the boss in a PvE adventure.

You might remember the my.com Arena we held earlier this year, "Gods of the Arena" works in similar fashion. Participate in PVP battles, earn points and climb the ranks!

The Gods of the Arena puts players against other players in a region-wide match-off to see, which among them have the wit and power to dominate!

Immortals can compete for points in the Battle of Equals, Massive Battles and the Lugran Research Base.

The arena opens its doors October 18th, and closes them on November 5th, at 12:00PM CEST (3am PDT). To discover more about the event, and how points will be awarded, please visit the official arena page for more information. Don't forget to grab your enlistment prize of 4000 Argents.

Becoming a champion in the arena is simple: get enough points. Earn points to climb levels and even more to reach the Top-100 and Top-10 ranks. Players will have a set of 10 levels that they can climb. Each level acts as a point threshold with a special reward attached to it. The higher the level, the more exclusive the reward.

Note: If you received the Scarlet Biohazard Costume in the past,
the Level 4 reward won't be eligible to you since you already own that costume.

The Trick or Treat Page returns this year with a chance to get rewards every day! If you are not easily scared, knock on the doors and see if you get a treat or get tricked! Some doors could spook the godly halo from your head!

Pumpkin Horror!

Want to get a whole lot of candy at once? Just go to the city park!

Between 03:00 - 04:00 PDT and 09:00 - 13:00 PDT every day, 1 special rideable broom and lots of pumpkins will appear there.

As soon as the broom appears, all players in the park will receive a dedicated notification. Your objective will be to be the first to find the broom, mount it and make off to a safe place, evading the crowds of competitors. Additionally, mounted heroes will be able to throw special pumpkins that add a fear effect on their targets. Fun like no other!

Didn't manage to reach the precious objective? Then let no one else have it! Grab the first pumpkin you can lay your hands on and throw it at the cocky immortal that dared steal the broom that is yours by law. After all, you saw it first! A couple of well-aimed shots and that upstart is back on the ground, and the broom is free once more!

You will receive 25 pieces of candy for every 5 seconds you spend on the broom. And if you manage to hold on to it for more than a minute, you will also be rewarded for completing the daily quest. Another way to receive that reward is to hit the broom rider with five pumpkins.

Let us point out that you will receive more rewards for riding the broom than for throwing pumpkins. After all, you receive rewards both for the daily quest and a bonus for holding on to your "mount."

By the way, all players that completed any of the daily quests will not be able to ride the broom until next day. But they will be able to pellet the broom riders as much as they want. Isn't that nice?

Candy bandits!

During your adventures, you might encounter special candy bandits. Their name may not be very terrifying, but those thugs can prove formidable adversaries. By defeating them you can earn candy and pieces of a map for the treasure hidden in the city park.

During the festivities, you will find tons of new Halloween-styled items that you can buy for candy. You can find the special offer on the Events tab. Also, there you will see sinister costumes of phantoms, skeletons, and mummies that will turn your character in a true otherworldly monster, and mysterious and gloomy headgear that correspond to the holiday spirit perfectly. Besides, you will be able to purchase incredible fireworks and a new musical instrument in the market. Create an otherworldly celebration with howls and pyrotechnics for those around!

Legendary Weapon Abilities

Maa’rid, Hidden Rage

The Lightbinder gains an additional ability, Quasar. Quasar creates an energy sphere in the selected spot. It will explode in 4 seconds or when an enemy approaches it, dealing damage to all enemies in the area of effect and pulling them towards it. The explosion creates an astral area which exists for 8 seconds. Within the area, enemies are slowed down by 50% and cannot Dash, taking damage and becoming 4% more vulnerable to incoming damage every second (the effect stacks up to 5 times). The cooldown of the ability is reduced by 2 seconds each time Sparks of Anger are used.

Baal and Mot, Demonic Onslaught

Waves of Wrath reduce the cooldown of Celestial Shield by an amount based on Strength and the number of affected enemies (by 5 seconds maximum). Using Onslaught and Verdict may apply the Distortion effect to the Paladin which resets the cooldown of Waves of Wrath, increases its damage by 100, and makes it instant and free. Using Radiant Aspect is guaranteed to apply Distortion.

Using Explosion of Darkness and Extermination may turn the next Murder of Crows into Wicked Storm which carries enemies off and inflicts damage to them.

When the Necromancer is alone in an adventure, they gain the ability to summon a demon compelled by necrotic energy for a long time. The demon distracts enemies and absorbs their souls when they die, accumulating a bonus to their damage.

Hak'kar, Eye of the Storm – Revenant

The Dehydration effect has a 50% chance to replace the next use of Destruction with an axe throw in the same direction, inflicting heavy damage to all enemies along the way.

Horus, Demonheart - Cryomancer

Using Icy Comet with the Icy Meteor effect grants you 1 level of the Chaos Comet effect for 40 seconds.

2 levels of the Chaos Comet effect increase the bonus damage of the next Icy Comet from 150% to 500%, and its range from 8 to 12 yards.

Sarn's Rage – Slayer

8 seconds into the fight and after exiting invisibility, bonus to damage is increased and all combo attacks teleport the Slayer to their target.

Dear friends!

In the next invasion, the equipment system will undergo several major changes. In this article, we will talk about what exactly we plan to do and what will be affected.

We expect that it will allow us to get rid of unnecessarily large numbers in the interfaces, so it will be easier to understand how efficiently the equipment works and beginning players will have a better sense of progress.

Changes in the Prestige system

Prestige is replaced by Rank. The current rank value will directly affect character’s damage.

• In a battle against a lower ranked opponent, damage and defense will be increased by 1% for every excess rank.
• In a battle with a higher ranked enemy, damage and defense will be reduced by 10% for each missing rank.

The character’s rank will consist of two indicators - the Basic rank and Seasonal rank.

Basic rank depends on the already existing attribute - Might. It should be noted that its numerical indicators will be reduced 10 times relative to current indicators. The changes will affect the Tower of Knowledge, Cathedral, Bastions, Hall of Trophies, and Pantheon bonus. Basic rank is a static value, like the old Prestige. Its value can only go up, which gives the player access to new content.

Seasonal rank depends on the new stat, Superiority, which will replace Combat Superiority from Flavius’s Laboratory. There are several important differences between them:

• Superiority is not measured in percentage, and its maximum value increases each season.
• In Flavius’s Laboratory, just like Combat Superiority, the value of the new stat can be increased twice a day. However, it can be done only by taking out a special troop in invasion adventures. This opportunity will be available to all players regardless of their laboratory’s development level.

Seasonal rank, in contrast to the Basic one, is a dynamic value. Each season, the value of Superiority accumulated in Flavius’s Laboratory is set to zero, and its amount required to get one Seasonal rank increases.

Changes to equipment, bonuses, and relics

Equipment will no longer have damage and health modifiers. The reason for dropping them is that they were not directly involved in the character’s “build” and looked strange to new players (“+0.45 to critical damage modifier”). At high Prestige ranks, they were also the main cause of huge numbers in the interface.

Please note that we are talking about the highest numeric indicator. The main and secondary properties of items will remain the same. You can still change them depending on the chosen “build”. Integrity indicator is not going anywhere.

Old modifiers will be replaced with the Might and Superiority values.

Modifiers on adepts' relics are replaced with a bonus Might value. This value will be measured in percentages. For example, a relic that previously had a Critical Damage Modifier will now increase bonus damage by a certain percentage.

Modifiers will disappear from the bonuses provided by class seals in the Cathedral, the percentage value of the bonuses will also increase.

FAQ

Will the difference in ranks affect the damage of characters in PvP modes with scaling?
No, the values of Might and Superiority will be equal for all characters.

Does bonus Superiority disappear from equipment at the start of a new season?
No, Superiority on gear remains. However, it is recalculated in the new season, because the amount of Superiority required to obtain each Seasonal Rank increases with every season.

Will my Might and Superiority indicators decrease if I take a piece of equipment off my character?
Yes. This will change the value of the Seasonal Rank, but the value of the Basic rank will remain unchanged.
